Feinstein Too Conservative for California Democrats?
Posted February 27, 2018
The recently concluded California Democrat State Convention denied U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein its endorsement. In point of fact, her even more left-wing primary opponent State Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de Leon received 54% of the convention vote to 37% for Feinstein.
To realize how far left California is going you only need to look at Feinstein's voting record. In 2015 Feinstein received a rating of 0 out of a possible 100 from the American Conservative Union. In 2016 she received a score of 8. Her lifetime average is 9.15. She is obviously a very liberal Senator.
Believe it or not, de Leon is attacking Feinstein from the left. In the California State Senate, he has sponsored or proposed bills that have made California a sanctuary state, increased burdens on business and individuals from climate change to minimum wage to more and more regulation.
The government of California with the left in control is where the national Democrats want to take America. Their first steps are to regain control of the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate this coming November.
