"Washington is broken. My whole campaign has been premised from the start on the idea that we have to fundamentally change how Washington works." - Senator Barack Obama, September 11, 2008

Not only has President Obama failed to fix or change Washington, he has made it worse. In many peoples' minds, Obama is doing two contradictory things. First, not only has Obama failed to change Washington, he has brought his brand of the Chicago machine politics with him -- helping his friends with subsidies and contracts at the expense of the taxpayer. Second, his left wing, ideologically driven approach, results in him dividing our nation by sex, race, religion, and socioeconomic class. This is particularly evident in his reelection campaign.

Obama's radical, government centered policies, have hurt our economy
He has run our national debt to $16 trillion and counting, leading to further financial disaster.
According to the House Ways and Means Committee, the pace of job creation by the Obama Administration has been slower than that of the Great Depression and the real unemployment rate (discouraged workers who dropped out or never joined the workforce) is actually around 11%.
During his first two years in office, he had control of both Houses of Congress, yet failed to get anything done except more spending and Obamacare, which 56% of the nation still opposes.
His closest ally in the Senate, Senator Harry Reid, has failed to produce a budget in over 1,250 days.

Obama's "all-of-the-above" energy approach is a lie
He has denied access to 98% of America's energy supplies in East and West Coast waters. There, 86 billion barrels of oil continue to be off limits.
He has doubled the cost of gas to a national average from $1.84 to $3.78 for a gallon of regular.
The Obama Administration has increased the amount of U.S. government owned land that is off limits to energy exploration and development.

The "I know best" strategy has resulted in him ignoring the will of Congress
Obama has usurped the legislative process with multiple, unlawful and unconstitutional executive orders (18 that we know of), most recently, by unilaterally giving temporary legal status to illegal aliens under the age of 30.
He unilaterally appointed Richard Cordray to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and three people to the National Labor Relations Board without Senate approval.

As can be seen from above, Obama's ideas for change to go backwards.

Landry Stands up for Louisiana

CVF Endorses Landry for Congress

The Conservative Victory Fund (CVF), the nation's oldest conservative campaign committee, is proud to have endorsed Jeff Landry for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 3rd District of Louisiana.

Landry, a leading part of the conservative wave that took over the House of Representatives in 2010, has taken his campaign promises and put them into action. Since being elected, he has fought hard to repeal Obamacare and reduce our deficit by introducing common sense reforms.

He understands that producing energy from our own, vast natural resources helps create jobs. As a small businessman, he understands that government is not the solution in solving the problems that small business faces, rather, it is the problem.

The Conservative Victory Fund is proud to endorse and stand behind conservatives like Jeff Landry and urges Louisiana voters to do the same.

Landry for Louisiana

The late conservative leader, Congressman John Ashbrook, founded Conservative Victory Fund (CVF) more than forty years ago. CVF works to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
